GENERAL INFORMATION REGARDING GROUP ROOM BLOCKS
Once the rooming block is full or after the cut-off date (whichever comes first), you may not be able to obtain the Public Affairs Council group rate or a room at the conference hotel. Therefore, we recommend that you book a room as early as possible.
Also please note that the room rate is only valid for the nights of the conference (check-in taking place on the first advertised day of the conference and check-out on the final day.) Some hotels have been known to honor the room rate on the few days before and after our events, but please be aware that it is not guaranteed and that the room rate may be different.
ROOM RATES & RESERVATIONS
The Public Affairs Council has obtained a special group rate of $269 per night at the Casa Marina Resort located at 1500 Reynolds Street in Key West, Florida. There is also a daily resort fee of $20 that is added to all reservations which includes unlimited local and 800 phone calls, access to the pool ambassador, fitness center access, tennis court access (based on availability), a daily newspaper, in-room coffee and tea and use of the resort facilities as well as access to the Casa Marina's sister property, The Reach Resort. To make hotel reservations, please call (888) 318-4237. Make sure to identify yourself as a Public Affairs Council registrant to receive the group rate. The deadline for reservations is January 5.
All reservations require a deposit of one night's room and tax by guest check or credit card to be charged upon reservation. Guests not arriving for a scheduled reservation will forfeit the one night deposit and the remainder of the reservation will be released. Refunds of deposits are available if notice of cancellation is received more than 7 days prior to arrival.
The hotel will also apply an early departure fee equal to one night's room and tax for any guest that fails to inform the hotel of a change in their departure and/or length of stay at or before the time of check-in.

Key West International Airport (EYW) is the closest airport to the Casa Marina Resort. Taxi service and rental car companies are available onsite at the airport. Airport transfers are available through a local transportation company.

PARKING
Valet parking fees are $20 per vehicle per day. The current self-parking fees are $12 per vehicle per day. These fees may be subject to change by the hotel without prior notice.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS
From Key West International Airport (EYW): As you exit the airport, make a right onto South Roosevelt Boulevard. Bear right onto Bertha Street. Turn left at Atlantic Boulevard. This will turn into Reynolds Street. The Casa Marina Resort is on the left.
From Miami International Airport (MIA): Head south from N. Le Jeune Rd / NW 42nd Avenue. Take SR-836 West to The Florida Turnpike South (FL-821 S). Continue on Florida Turnpike South until it ends on US-1. Continue traveling south on US-1 for approximately 126 miles. Bear left towards S. Roosevelt Boulevard. Turn left onto Atlantic Boulevard. Turn right onto Reynolds. Hotel will be on the left. Approximate time: 3 hours 10 minutes.
Fort Lauderdale / Hollywood International Airport (FLL): Head east from Terminal Drive. Bear right onto the I-595 W ramp to I-95 / Florida's Turnpike / Ft. Lauderdale. Take the US-441 exit (8&9). Merge onto Florida's Turnpike south. Continue onto SR-821 south toward Homestead. Take the South Dixie Highway exit. Continue on US-1 for approximately 126 miles. Bear left on S. Roosevelt Boulevard. Turn left onto Atlantic Boulevard. Turn right onto Reynolds. Hotel will be on the left. Approximate time: 3 hours 40 minutes.
