Due to the incredible response from early registrants, our room block at the Casa Marina Resort & Beach Club has been filled. As of January 3, there were still rooms available at the Casa Marina Resort, but our group rate will no longer be offered and the hotel is expecting to sell out over our conference dates. If you would like to stay at the conference hotel, you must call the hotel directly at (888) 318-4237 to make a reservation and determine the current rate.
You will most likely find better rates at the Casa Marina’s sister property, The Reach Resort. The Reach Resort is located directly across the street from the Casa Marina – less than a 2 minute walk from the conference hotel and the beach. Rooms will be granted as cancellations are received. You will be contacted no later than January 28 if a room becomes available. After that date, the waiting list will be released.

GENERAL INFORMATION REGARDING GROUP ROOM BLOCKS
Once the rooming block is full or after the cut-off date (whichever comes first), you may not be able to obtain the Public Affairs Council group rate or a room at the conference hotel. Therefore, we recommend that you book a room as early as possible.
Also please note that the room rate is only valid for the nights of the conference (check-in taking place on the first advertised day of the conference and check-out on the final day.) Some hotels have been known to honor the room rate on the few days before and after our events, but please be aware that it is not guaranteed and that the room rate may be different.
ROOM RATES & RESERVATIONS
The Public Affairs Council has obtained a special group rate of $279 per night plus a $20 daily resort fee (see below for more information on the resort fee) at the Casa Marina, A Waldorf Astoria Resort located at 1500 Reynolds Avenue in Key West, Florida. To make hotel reservations, please call (888) 318-4237/(888) 303-5717 or click here to make a reservation online. Make sure to identify yourself as a Public Affairs Council registrant to receive the group rate. The deadline for reservations is January 5.
All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card. Checks and major credit cards are acceptable to establish prepayment. All credit cards used to prepay the deposit will be charged immediately. Reservations may be cancelled without penalty and the deposit refunded up to 3 days prior to arrival. After that time or for guests not arriving for their scheduled reservation, the deposit is non-refundable.
In the event of check-out prior to the reserved check-out date, the Hotel will charge an early checkout fee. Guests wishing to avoid an early checkout fee should advise the hotel at or before check-in of any change to the planned length of stay.

Though the amenities included in the resort fee are subject to change at the hotel’s discretion, the fee will covers some of the following services:

AIRPORTS & TRANSPORTATION
Key West International Airport (EYW) is the closest airport to the Casa Marina Resort (approximately 3 miles). Taxi service and rental car companies are available onsite at the airport. Taxi fare is approximately $8-10 one-way from EYW.

PARKING
Valet parking fees are $25 per vehicle per day. The current self-parking fees are $18 per vehicle per day. These fees may be subject to change by the hotel without prior notice.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS
From Key West International Airport (EYW): As you exit the airport, make a right onto South Roosevelt Boulevard. Bear right onto Bertha Street. Turn left at Atlantic Boulevard. This will turn into Reynolds Street. The Casa Marina Resort is on the left.
From Miami International Airport (MIA): Head south from N. Le Jeune Rd / NW 42nd Avenue. Take SR-836 West to The Florida Turnpike South (FL-821 S). Continue on Florida Turnpike South until it ends on US-1. Continue traveling south on US-1 for approximately 126 miles. Bear left towards S. Roosevelt Boulevard. Turn left onto Atlantic Boulevard. Turn right onto Reynolds. Hotel will be on the left. Approximate time: 3 hours 10 minutes.
Fort Lauderdale / Hollywood International Airport (FLL): Head east from Terminal Drive. Bear right onto the I-595 W ramp to I-95 / Florida’s Turnpike / Ft. Lauderdale. Take the US-441 exit (8&9). Merge onto Florida’s Turnpike south. Continue onto SR-821 south toward Homestead. Take the South Dixie Highway exit. Continue on US-1 for approximately 126 miles. Bear left on S. Roosevelt Boulevard. Turn left onto Atlantic Boulevard. Turn right onto Reynolds. Hotel will be on the left. Approximate time: 3 hours 40 minutes.
