ROOM RATES & RESERVATIONS

The Public Affairs Council has obtained a special group rate of $260 per night at the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando^® located 5601 Universal Blvd in Orlando, Florida. To make hotel reservations, please call (866) 360-7395. Make sure to identify yourself as a Public Affairs Council registrant to receive the group rate. The deadline for reservations is January 8.

Check-in time is 4:00pm and check-out is at 11:00am. A deposit equal to one night's stay is required to hold each individual reservation and the deposit will be applied to the last night of the reserved stay. A personal check (subject to collection), money order or a valid credit card and expiration date are acceptable. Refunds of deposits are available if notice of cancellation is received at least 5 days prior to arrival and a cancellation number is obtained.

AIRPORTS
Orlando International Airport (MCO) services is approximately 25 minutes from the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando^®. See below for additional information on driving directions.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is also available through Mears Transportation. Shuttle service is available at the rate of $17 one-way/per person ($28 roundtrip.) Please note that rates are subject to change. Upon arrival at the Orlando International Airport, you will find the Mears counters located inside the baggage claim area on Level Two as well as Level One wher eyou board the shuttle to the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel. No reservations are necessary upon arrival for this shared-ride shuttle. At the Mears counter, you can purchase your ticket for shared-ride shuttle which departs every 30-40 minutes from Level One. 

Taxi services are also available to and from the airport. Taxi fare is approximately $45-50 one-way to the hotel.

PARKING
Both self parking and valet are available. Rates are subject to change at the hotel's discretion.

• Day Guests: Self Parking: $20 plus tax per day; Valet Parking $25 plus tax per day
• Overnight Guests: Self Parking: $15 plus tax per day; Valet Parking $22 plus tax per day

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

Orlando International Airport:

• Take the North exit out the airport onto Beachline Expressway (SR528) West (International Drive, Convention Center)
• Continue on Beachline and take I-4 East
• Take Exit 75A (Universal Studios) and get in the left lane
• At the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto Universal Blvd.
• Portofino entrance is 1 mile on the right

*SR528 is a toll road. Cost is $1.50.

Turnpike (North or South):

• Take Exit 259 (I-4 interchange) onto I-4 (Tampa)
• Take Exit 74B (Universal Studios) and get in the right lane
• At traffic light, turn right onto Hollywood Way
• Travel half a mile to Universal Blvd., and turn left
• Portofino entrance is 1 mile on the right

Downtown Orlando (I-4 West):

• Take I-4 West to Exit 74B (Universal Studios) and get in the right lane
• At traffic light, turn right onto Hollywood Way
• Travel half a mile to Universal Blvd., and turn left
• Portofino entrance is 1 mile on the right

Tampa (I-4 East):

• Take I-4 East towards downtown Orlando
• Take Exit 75A (Universal Studios) and get in the left lane
• At the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto Universal Blvd.
• Portofino entrance is 1 mile on the right

I-95 South:

• Take I-95 South to Exit 260B (I-4 West towards Orlando)
• Take I-4 West to Exit 74B (Universal Studios) and get in the right lane
• At the traffic light, turn right onto Hollywood Way
• Travel half a mile to Universal Blvd., and turn left
• Portofino entrance is 1 mile on the right

I-95 North:

• Take I-95 North to Exit 205 (SR528 - Beachline Expressway) heading West
• Continue on Beachline and take Exit 75A (universal Studios) and get in the left lane
• Turn left on Universal Blvd.
• Portofino entrance is 1 mile on the right
