NATIONAL PAC CONFERENCE

Renaissance Vinoy Resort & Golf Club - St. Petersburg, FL
Due to the incredible response from early registrants, our room block at the Renaissance Vinoy Resort & Golf Club has been filled on the night of February 23 and the hotel is currently sold out on that night as well. At this time, the Vinoy is accepting reservations for the other nights of the conference but you would have to stay elsewhere on the final night of the conference. Below is a list of area hotels. Please reference this list when making alternate accommodations in the St. Petersburg area for Tuesday night. All three of these hotel options are within walking distance of the Vinoy.
WAIT LIST: If you would like to be placed on the wait list for a room at the Renaissance Vinoy, please contact Lauren Tyler at ltyler@pac.org. Rooms will be granted as cancellations are received. You will be contacted no later than February 12 if a room becomes available. After that date, the waiting list will be released. **If you opt to be placed on the wait list, we highly recommend that you still make a reservation at one of the overflow hotels as a back-up. Being placed on the wait list is by no means a guarantee of a room.**

GENERAL INFORMATION REGARDING GROUP ROOM BLOCKS
Once the rooming block is full or after the cut-off date (whichever comes first), you may not be able to obtain the Public Affairs Council group rate or a room at the conference hotel. Therefore, we recommend that you book a room as early as possible.
Also please note that the room rate is only valid for the nights of the conference (check-in taking place on the first advertised day of the conference and check-out on the final day.) Some hotels have been known to honor the room rate on the few days before and after our events, but please be aware that it is not guaranteed and that the room rate may be different.
ROOM RATES & RESERVATIONS
The Public Affairs Council has obtained a special group rate of $239 per night at the Renaissance Vinoy Resort & Golf Club located 501 Fifth Avenue NE in St. Petersburg, FL. To make hotel reservations, please call (888) 303-4430 or (800) 468-3571. Make sure to identify yourself as a Public Affairs Council registrant to receive the group rate. The deadline for reservations is January 21.
Check-in time is 4:00pm and check-out is at 11:00am. All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card. Cancellations must be received 24 hours prior to arrival.

AIRPORTS
Tampa International Airport (TPA) services most major airlines, domestic and international. Driving time to or from the Renaissance Vinoy is approximately 25 minutes.
TRANSPORTATION
Taxi services are available at the airport. Taxi fare is approximately $50 one way to the resort.
SuperShuttle Tampa Bay, Inc is also available to and from the resort. Courtesy desks are located at all baggage claim areas and the current charge is $25.00 per person one-way and $46.00 round trip for pre-paid travel. PARKING
Both self parking and valet are available. Self parking in the covered parking garage is currently $12 per vehicle per day. Valet parking services are currently $18 per vehicle per day.
DIRECTIONS FROM TAMPA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (TPA)
- Exit the airport and follow the signs to I-275 south
- Follow I-275 South into St. Petersburg
- Follow I-275 South. Take the Pier exit 23a (old 10) onto I-375, into downtown St. Petersburg.
- I-375 East merges at exit 2 into 4th Avenue North.
- Proceed one mile on 4th Avenue to Beach Drive.
- Turn left onto Beach Drive, and proceed one block to 5th Avenue.
- Turn right onto 5th Avenue NE, and the Renaissance Vinoy Resort is located on the left side of 5th Avenue Northeast.
