Adam Korengold is the Director of Research and Consulting Services for the Public Affairs Council. He leads the Council's production of industry-leading benchmarking studies examining state and federal government relations, grassroots outreach, PACs, social media and international public affairs. Since joining the Council in 2008, Adam has worked with nearly three dozen members, including leading trade associations and Fortune 500 companies, to gather data and information to enhance their performance.
Adam also directs benchmarking and research studies for the Foundation for Public Affairs, including "The Jugaad Principle," the Apex Award-winning report on conducting government relations in India. Additionally, the Foundation produces annual compensation reports and studies on emerging trends in the public affairs profession.
Before coming to the Council, Adam served as director of research for the Health Industry Distributors Association and was responsible for a range of market research and financial benchmarking studies profiling the healthcare products market. He also worked in a number of research roles for the Corporate Executive Board, a Washington, D.C.-based research firm, providing best practices and other insights to corporate clients in the human resources, corporate finance, operations and research and development functions. Earlier, he managed projects for the IRIS Center, an international affairs organization based at the University of Maryland at College Park.
Adam holds an MBA from George Washington University, a master's of international affairs from Columbia University and a bachelor's in international relations, with a minor in Russian, from the University of Pennsylvania.
