Lauren is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Certificate in African-American Studies.  While in school, Lauren interned at Washington Sports and Entertainment in their Community Relations Department, as well as with the Media Relations Department for University of Maryland Athletics.  A native of the Washington, D.C. area, some of Lauren's interests include politics, pop-culture, and dance.
