Grassroots Innovation Awards
How have you changed the practice of grassroots this year?
THE AWARDS:
The Public Affairs Council proudly announces the eleventh annual Grassroots Innovation Awards. First presented in 2000, the awards recognize the nation's best grassroots programs and campaigns. For 2010, applications will be considered for the following categories:
- Corporate Innovation
- Association Innovation
- Social Media Innovation (new category for 2010)
From unique educational and recruitment campaigns to creative activation, communication and social media strategies, no grassroots innovation is too small for consideration. Past winners have created innovative lobby days, GOTV programs, bold social media and employee communications and even creative management structures.

JUDGING CRITERIA
A hand-selected committee of grassroots leaders will select this year's innovators. When reviewing the applications, committee members apply the following criteria to each nomination:
1. Is the innovation adaptable to other organizations?
2. Could the innovation change how grassroots is practiced in the future?
3. Did the organization attempt to measure its results?
4. Was the innovation appropriate to the organization's audience?

THE PRIZE:
In addition to being recognized as a national leader in grassroots, award recipients receive a complimentary registration to the 2010 National Grassroots Conference (Jan 20-23 in Orlando, Florida) and an invitation to present their innovation during the awards program at the conference. http://www.grassrootsconference.com/
