Peraton Senior Communications Lead Position

Location: Fort Huachuca and/or remote.

Job Tasks:

  1. Craft program communications, creating and executing communications strategy and distributing messaging relevant to CRB and CAB processes.
  2. Create and maintain the program communications battle rhythm; work with SPO Support Manager to develop FAQs and responses to RFIs.
  3. Brief Senior Leaders on communicating strategy, messaging, and outcomes of messaging strategy.
  4. Serve as the primary contact for stakeholder engagement and stakeholder outreach; and for conducting “Ask Me Anything” sessions relevant to A365 migration.
  5. Generate innovative ideas for content and workflow solutions documentation.
  6. Lead efforts to document internal processes.
  7. Evaluate existing publications for quality, relevancy, and accuracy.
  8. Set guidelines and standard procedures for producing documents then ensure new and existing publications follow established documentation procedures.
  9. Establish documentation schedules and serve as editing point for final documents.
  10. Meet with Team subject-matter experts to ensure specialized topics are appropriately addressed.
  11. Analyze information with a high level of attention to detail required for the development or update of policy, procedures, and solutions documentation.
  12. Determine the clearest and concise logical presentation of information for the greatest reader comprehension.
  13. Produce deliverables, SOPs, and various documentation.
  14. Analyze, review and/or copyedit content developed by other members of the team.
  15. Demonstrate fluency in technical and common office software and technologies used (SharePoint).

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD.
  • Experience with Public Affairs.
  • Must be an experienced communicator.
  • Must be able to craft professional communications and presentations.
  • Must be able to clarify issues, promote closure, and deliver information in a clear and concise manner.
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Active SECRET security clearance.
  • Must be able to obtain a CAC.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Five years of experience supporting the government as a technical writer.
  • Familiarity with various modes of written communication such as project management plans, SOPs, status reports, and briefings.

Target Salary Range:

$112,000 – $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
