The global public affairs and association management consultancy Interel and AMG is seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager to lead on developing and coordinating group level marketing and communications activities across the company’s locations worldwide.
The Marketing and Communications Manager will oversee and contribute to the creation and execution of all marketing programs supporting Interel and AMG business. In addition, this individual will act as project champion for the planning and execution of meetings and conferences and to ensure that the team are on target to meet all of the expected deliverables. Duties will include implementation of the social media and marketing programs including member and prospect communications, public relations, and media relations.
Responsibilities/activities for the role include, but not limited to, marketing/communications strategic planning, coordinating content marketing, business development collateral, social/online/print media engagement, quarterly internal newsletters, contact database development and management, website and intranet content management, annual awards submissions, periodic event management, executive profiling support (speaking engagements, etc.), and periodic management of external vendors/consultants.
The ideal candidate is an energetic, creative, and results-driven individual with a professional background in communications supporting marketing or business development in a professional services firm (e.g. law or consulting firms). Superb business writing skills are a must, as is a strong working familiarity with using social media marketing channels, CRM-based databases, and website management. Meeting and event management experience is considered a plus, as well as experience working in international environments.
