Ready to influence the decisions of senior civil servants and Members of Parliament? Keen to shape the public policy agenda that will shape the way childcare is delivered in the years ahead? Then you'll fit in perfectly as part of our thriving External Relations team in Bromley.
In this brand new role, you will have a significant impact on the profile and performance of the National Childminding Association as a whole. This will include raising awareness and understanding of the NCMA's work by helping to deliver an ongoing contact programme that targets key decision-makers in Government. You will also work closely with the Research and Policy Officer to ensure a shared understanding of current policy issues. But that's just the start.

You are likely to have experience in a similar role, together with proven ability to lobby and influence government and other political stakeholders. A good understanding of the UK government system as well as evidence-based policy-making is also essential. With excellent communication and project management abilities, you will also have strong advocacy skills and the capacity to work collaboratively with external partners and stakeholders.
