Rikki Amos serves as the associate director of political involvement programs for the Public Affairs Council. In this capacity, Rikki oversees the Council's conferences, services, and resources for domestic political involvement professionals. Her areas of expertise and oversight include grassroots, domestic government relations and lobbying, corporate social responsibility, political action committees, and ethics.

In keeping with the Council's mission to provide education, training, and best practices for public affairs professionals, Rikki and her team convene the country's premier annual pac, grassroots, and community involvement conferences; roundtable workshops; training seminars; teleconferences; and custom trainings for the domestic political involvement community.

In concert with her educational programming, Rikki provides individualized consultation, resources, training, and community building for public affairs professionals seeking to define, implement, and evaluate their domestic government relations objectives. She is a frequent speaker to corporate and association audiences on issues pertaining to why grassroots advocacy works, how to integrate political involvement programs, ethics in advocacy, and many others. Additionally, her work on the recently conducted Grassroots Benchmarking Report by the Council's Consulting Services was honored with an Apex Award 

Prior to joining the Council, Rikki managed the government relations department of the Congressional Youth Leadership Council (CYLC), a Washington, DC-based non-profit leadership development organization. In that role, she oversaw congressional and state government relations, conference planning, and constituent relations programs. Additionally, Rikki served four years as a Constituent Communications Manager and Legislative Assistant for a U.S. Representative on Capitol Hill.

A native West Virginian, Rikki earned her B.A. in English from Emory University and her M.A. in Communication Studies from West Virginia University. She also completed a certification program on campaign finance fundamentals in 2007.
