
Jen is senior program associate and special assistant to the Council's president. She works closely with the president as the staff liason to the Board of Directors and Executive Committee. She manages the Council's two annual board meetings and oversees the board nomination process and senior management outreach and communications. In addition she handles all logistics for the Council's annual Public Affairs Institute conference.
Previously, she helped to manage research and publication of the Council's numerous benchmarking reports and assisted with management consulting projects. Her work on the 2008 Grassroots Benchmarking Report was honored with an Apex Award. In addition to her work with Consulting Services, she managed the annual solicitation campaign for the Foundation for Public Affairs, the Council's affiliated research foundation.
Before joining the Council in 2006, Jen was a research and marketing intern for the American Enterprise Institute, a public policy think-tank in Washington, D.C. She completed a semester abroad in Cordoba, Spain, where she studied Spanish, history and European Union relations. Originally from northern California, she earned her B.A. with honors in International Relations from the University of California, Davis. She is currently pursuing her masters in public policy from Georgetown University with an emphasis in political strategy and was a 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 Bryce Harlow Fellow.
