GENERAL INFORMATION REGARDING GROUP ROOM BLOCKS
Once the rooming block is full or after the cut-off date (whichever comes first), you may not be able to obtain the Public Affairs Council group rate or a room at the conference hotel. Therefore, we recommend that you book a room as early as possible.

Also please note that the room rate is only valid for the nights of the conference (check-in taking place on the first advertised day of the conference and check-out on the final day.) Some hotels have been known to honor the room rate on the few days before and after our events, but please be aware that it is not guaranteed and that the room rate may be different.

ROOM RATES & RESERVATIONS
The Public Affairs Council has obtained a special group rate of $299 per night at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel [3] located at 1600 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, FL. To make hotel reservations, please call (877) 563-9762. Make sure to identify yourself as a Public Affairs Council registrant to receive the group rate. The deadline for reservations is January 27.

All reservations require a deposit of one night's room and tax that will be charged at the time of reservation. The cancellation of reservations must be received 72 hours prior to arrival in order to avoid a cancellation charge equal to one night's room and tax. At check-in, you will have the opportunity to reconfirm your departure date. Any guest departing prior to that date will be assessed an early departure fee of $100 per day.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

From Miami International Airport:

• Follow airport signs to Le Jeune Road South (NW 42nd Avenue)
• Take Le Jeune Road to SR-836 East (Dolphin Expressway)
• Travel on SR-836 East, through the toll plaza until I-395 East
• Continue on I-395 Towards Miami Beach (MacArthur Causeway)
• Stay on the left hand side and exit on Alton Road North
• Continue on Alton Road and turn right on 16th Street

From Fort Lauderdale International Airport:

• Follow airport signs to I-595 West
• Take I-595 to I-95 South
• Continue until I-195 East
• Travel on I-195 and take Julia Tuttle Causeway East
• Stay in the far-right lane and take Alton Road South Exit
• Continue on Alton Road and turn left on 16th Street
• Loews Miami Beach is directly ahead
