Director of Government Relations
Commodity Markets Council (CMC) seeks this senior-level director to develop and manage successful strategies to influence legislative and regulatory positions that advance CMC's mission to advocate for open, competitive markets.
Duties include working with the Administration, Congress and federal agencies; developing and implementing legislative strategy; writing issue reports; and communicating with the CMC's membership and the public. Director of Government Relations works collaboratively with the association President and Board of Directors. Successful candidate will have Hill experience; knowledge of futures and options trading, energy and agriculture policy; and strong writing/communication skills.
