Christian Roatta is a Public Affairs Associate at the Council, where he assists practice team leaders in developing and executing leading professional education programs in CSR, advocacy and public affairs management. Christian also supports the Council’s work in consulting, customized training and benchmarking.
Before joining the Council, Christian worked as a Research Associate at Crowell & Moring International where he leveraged his background in economics and international affairs to provide clients with assessments on emerging trends and impacts of international trade and regulatory policies. There, he managed global projects and coordinated resources between major international stakeholder organizations in generating impactful assessments on global affairs. Moreover, Christian represented the firm at important government hearings and international trade-related events as well as supported engagements between business executives, top government officials, and civil society leaders in the United States and around the world.
Christian graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from The George Washington University where he was selected as a Luther Rice Fellow. Thereafter, he earned a Master’s of Sciences in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics and Political Science. During his undergraduate career, Christian also interned at the Public Affairs Council.
Outside of work, Christian is a passionate ultimate frisbee player and tries to never be too far from a good hiking trail.
