ESG issues are front and center in the investment and business strategies of companies, who will soon face legislation classifying “environmental goals in Congress and statehouses across the country. Make sure you can properly define and articulate your environmental sustainability goals when speaking with lawmakers.

This program is eligible for 1 credit towards the Certificate in Government Relation and Lobbying and the Certificate in Public Affairs Management.

The speakers will discuss and define “ESG” and “sustainability”, carbon emissions scopes, corporate benchmarks and the what the prospects of the SEC’s proposed guidelines on ESG requirements mean for your business or clients.

In this session, we will review case studies focused on communicating your company’s initiatives, being transparent in your activities and communications and stating your environmental pledges when speaking with lawmakers on certain bills and regulatory issues.
