Have you ever asked yourself, how does the “other guy” achieve government relations success, what’s their secret sauce?  The structure of your government relations team can have a direct correlation to your capacity to achieve your organization’s government relations goals (for better or worse).  Whether you are just starting a government relations program, expanding your team, or simply want to know how your department benchmarks against other best–in-class organizations, this workshop is for you!

In this session we will:

  • Discuss current industry budget norms and trends by reviewing and analyzing relevant results from the Public Affairs Council’s State of Corporate Public report;
  • Walk through case studies and examples from small and large corporations and associations; and
  • Share insights on current diversity and inclusion practices.

In this session we will:

  • Provide planning and measurement tools to set your government relations practice up for success;

  • Discuss strategies for getting internal decision makers on board with your team’s needs.
