When you send out an action alert, does your audience answer the call? Let us help ensure they do. This workshop will help you develop an engagement plan to energize and activate your base, even supporters who are disconnected or traditionally silent.

This program is eligible for 2 grassroots credits toward the Certificate in PAC & Grassroots Management.

As a CAE Approved Provider educational program related to the CAE exam content outline, this program may be applied for 2 credits toward your CAE application or renewal professional development requirements.

Agenda

1:00 p.m.         Plans, Strategies, and Tactics for Advocate Engagement

You can’t always find new advocates, so make sure you are taking care of the ones you already have. When properly trained and cared for, an army of engaged advocates might be your most powerful weapon in your public policy fight.  Our presenters will discuss:

  • How to identify your disengaged advocate pool and start building a plan to turn them around
  • How to build an advocate reward system or use gamification to boost competition among supporters
  • When to strategically use surveys, quizzes, challenges, and other unique tactics to re-engage your advocates or move them up the engagement ladder
  • Building an advocate communication plan that boots open rates, increase policy knowledge and empowers your supports to take action
