Are you tired of issue fatigue and low engagement?  Join us to learn how to build a sophisticated association or corporate grassroots program that goes beyond just fly-ins and action alerts.

This program is eligible for 2 grassroots elective credits toward the Certificate in PAC & Grassroots Management. As a CAE Approved Provider educational program related to the CAE exam content outline, this program may be applied for 2 credits toward your CAE application or renewal professional development requirements.


10:00 a.m.       Developing an Advanced Advocacy Plan

Creating a community of engaged supporters who will effectively advocate on your behalf can be extremely difficult especially when your advocates are faced with issue fatigue, digital overload, and hyper partisan politics. This session will feature an interactive strategic planning exercise as well as an advocacy expert who will address how to:

  • Craft a advocacy strategic plan and budget that will help you meet your goals
  • Asses your current program to identify areas for improvement and where to deploy advanced tactics
  • Develop a sophisticated training program that greatly improves advocate success

In this session, our presenters will delve into new tactics, strategies and ideas that will propel your advocacy program into new heights.
