2 p.m. - 4:15 p.m. ET

Your organization can give back to society in an abundance of ways, but you need the right team to make a meaningful impact. Effective partnerships play a key role in any organization’s push to develop or enhance a CSR profile. Our workshop will show you how to locate and engage partners in order to achieve your CSR goals.

This program is eligible for 2 elective credits toward the Certificate in Public Affairs Management. As a CAE Approved Provider educational program related to the CAE exam content outline, this program may be applied for 2 credits toward your CAE application or renewal professional development requirements.

2:00 p.m.       Developing and Implementing CSR Corporate/Non-Profit Programs

Organizations engage in corporate social responsibility work for myriad reasons, but no matter the cause finding the right partner is essential. An effective partnership can boost employee engagement, company reputation, and more.

Our experts will discuss:

  • How to find the right CSR partner
  • How to structure a partnership that advances individual and shared goals
  • How to measure impact and grow programs sustainably

3:15 p.m.       Creating Industry and Issue Partnerships
Some societal or environmental issues, such as creating an inclusive society or addressing climate change, are just too big for one organization to tackle alone. Industry and issue partnerships allow firms to make an impact by convening relevant stakeholders, promoting best practices, and implementing solutions at scale.

This session will discuss how to:

  • Explore company operations to find relevant CSR partnerships
  • Identify partners for cross-industry sustainability initiatives
  • Measure impact at the company and coalition levels
