When our charitable sector thrives, so do our communities. Amplifying the work of nonprofits and foundations through partnerships propels our society forward. In this workshop, we will cover strategies for reaching out and supporting the work of the charitable sector. 

This program is eligible for 2 elective credits toward the Certificate in PAC & Grassroots Management and 2 specialization credits toward the Certificate in Government Relations and Lobbying and 2 elective credits toward the Certificate in Public Affairs Management.

The first step in finding a nonprofit or foundation partner is assessing what issues you are best suited to address based on your organization’s values. Understanding the right questions and research will position you to forge meaningful connections. Our experts will explore methods for reaching and pursuing partnerships with members of the charitable community. Our presenters will address:   

  • Research tips for understanding the landscape of the charitable sector  
  • Strategies for evaluating what issue areas best align with your organization  
  • Tactics for interviewing and assessing potential partners
