9:00 – 10:00: Session 1: Managing Your Global Plan

This session will cover the fundamentals of creating, implementing and managing that plan, and answer how to:

  • Integrate core business priorities with your function’s goals
  • Develop and implement strategies that ensure effective cross-border coordination and issue management
  • Engage senior leadership and achieve key executive buy-in for your efforts
  • Define objectives, risks and opportunities, key stakeholders, and both planned and reactive strategy elements

10:00 – 11:00: Session 2: Managing Your (limited) Resources

Public affairs functions are often expected to produce positive results with limited resources. This session will cover the essentials of resource management, including how to:

  • Leverage and maximize your existing resources to ensure coordination and alignment of key public affairs initiatives
  • Work with consultants, trade associations and other stakeholders to make your public affairs work more effective
  • Ensure effective communication and resource-sharing between internal teams located across the globe
  • Make the case for adding resources to expand your function’s internal and external reach

11:00 – 12:00: Session 3: Managing Your Global Presence

This session will cover how to manage your company’s global presence from an internal perspective, including how to:

  • Track and effectively share relevant business and political intelligence that can affect your company’s global operations
