In today’s rapidly globalizing business environment, companies are seeing a greater need for a clear, strategic, corporate foreign policy. This term aligns the core competencies of public affairs, including government affairs, corporate responsibility, media relations and risk management under one cohesive strategic plan.

1:00 p.m. Session 1: Strategic Risk Planning

This session will cover the fundamentals of creating, implementing and managing a strategic global public affairs plan, with emphasis on horizon scanning to anticipate social, economic, and political risks and opportunities that may impact your company’s operations abroad.

You can enhance your global public affairs work through a carefully-curated stakeholder engagement strategy. Our presenter will define “business diplomacy”  from a public affairs angle and discuss how to leverage global platforms, such as the UN General Assembly and World Economic Forum, for your organization’s public affairs goals.
