Bringing your advocates to the capital is one of the best ways to train, energize and engage them in your organization’s advocacy efforts. But how do you plan and execute an effective fly-in that stands out in a sea of fly-ins? Additionally, how do you maintain your advocates’ enthusiasm after they return home?
Featured Topic & Speakers
Join us for a discussion around effectively engaging your advocates, identifying the key components that make a successful fly-in and leveraging that activity throughout the year. Our speakers will cover:
- Structures, budgets and types of successful fly-ins, including tactics for managing logistical concerns such as scheduling, invites and leave-behinds
- Strategies for training your advocates to be storytellers, allowing them to maximize the impact of their message
- Using your fly-in as a springboard for other advocacy and political activities, including integrating your PAC, promoting in-district advocacy and continued engagement
This program is eligible for 2 grassroots credits toward the Certificate in PAC & Grassroots Management.
