COVID-19 Policies

The safety of our conference attendees, partners and team is of paramount importance to the Public Affairs Council. We will continue to closely monitor CDC and local guidelines, and our safety protocols will meet or exceed those guidelines. To ensure in-person events take place with lower risk to participants, the Council is requiring COVID-19 vaccination for admittance to the 2023 Public Affairs Institute.

All registrants for the Institute must attest to being fully vaccinated when confirming their registration. Participants must be prepared to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination on-site by request. The only exemption to this policy will be religious or medical reasons. When this occurs, specific health protocols must be followed; otherwise, attendees will not be admitted. The Council’s vaccination policy is designed to create a safe experience for participants at Public Affairs Council events as well as our staff. Facemasks are welcome but not required at this time. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

The Council will also require registrants to submit an Acknowledgment of Personal Responsibility Form upon registering for a meeting or event. The Acknowledgement of Personal Responsibility Form also includes an agreement that attendees stay home from the conference in the case of symptoms or exposure to COVID-19.
