Quinn Thomas is seeking a talented communications professional at the Account Executive level to join our growing team in the Northwest. This person will play an integral role supporting a diverse portfolio of corporate, public affairs and government relations clients in healthcare, energy, retail, real estate and more. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years government, public relations, public affairs or entry-level experience with an agency and a desire to grow their skills while learning from experienced communications and public affairs professionals.


Quinn Thomas provides integrated communications for clients who want to throw out the playbooks and challenge conventional wisdom. We’re a young agency that is rapidly growing in the Pacific Northwest, and we’re looking for the right person to support a stellar client roster and agency growth in the market.

  • Support creative, integrated communications campaigns to include paid, earned, and owned strategies.
  • Conduct research and share insights with account teams (social and digital trends, editorial calendars, media/stakeholder list development, speaking engagements, advertising packages).
  • Track, compile, and analyze client media coverage and PR results.
  • Learn and leverage the latest communications tools including deep listening and social media management software such as Meltwater, Sprout and paid media analysis platforms.
  • Write, edit, and proofread materials including news releases, pitch letters, ad copy, op-eds, web content, and social media posts.
  • Under leadership of account manager, lead execution of media relations, events, and other communications activities on behalf of our clients.
  • Commit to continuous learning and improvement of communications skills.

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field in political science, marketing, communications, or public relations.
  • Have at least two years of post–college work experience in public affairs, public relations, government, marketing or media.
  • Must work well within a small, high-performing, collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to meet account managers expectations and deadlines while maintaining careful attention to detail and quality.
  • Possess solid research, writing, and editing skills.
  • Computer savvy with a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and website management tools, such as WordPress.
  • Show interest in the intersection of communications and public policy.

  • Salary: $50,000 – $55,000
  • Hybrid workplace with option to utilize office space in Seattle and Portland.
