Are you interested in strategic communications, media relations, and writing? As an Associate, you’ll collaborate with diverse clients – from corporate and nonprofit sectors to associations and issue advocacy groups. You’ll contribute to the firm’s mission by producing innovative and impactful deliverables that align with our clients’ objectives.


    • Efficiently research and produce first drafts of client-facing materials, including memos, presentations, press releases, talking points, fact sheets, media lists, op-eds, letters to the editor, and social media content, ensuring alignment with our brand voice and clients’ needs.
    • Build and maintain media lists, draft pitch materials, conduct media outreach, and build relationships with reporters.
    • Assist senior team members in the development and execution of campaign plans, including strategic communications, grassroots, and digital engagements.
    • Provide proactive logistical support to manage projects including scheduling, developing agendas, and taking detailed and action-oriented notes during internal and external meetings.
    • Track project timelines and client deliverables to ensure deadlines are met and priorities managed.
    • Develop a deep understanding of our clients, their business challenges, and their communication needs.
    • Support new business initiatives by conducting background research, pulling media clips, developing case studies, and working with existing materials to assist in creating proposals and presentations.


    • 1 – 3 years of experience in strategic communications or public affairs within corporate, government, non-profit or agency spaces, political campaigns, or a related industry
    • Strong writing and verbal communication skills with proficiency in distilling complex information with thorough knowledge of AP Style.
    • Experience using digital communications and social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, blogs, etc.
    • Team-oriented with a positive attitude and expertise in building strong relationships.
    • A natural problem-solver with good judgment, impeccable attention to detail, and the ability to manage up.
    • Skilled at working under pressure, ensuring quality and organization across multiple tasks.
    • Experience with media intelligence tools such as Quorum, Muck Rack, Infegy is a plus.
    • Detail-oriented with strong multitasking skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
    • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, political science, public affairs, public policy or other relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Bilingual is a plus
The base salary for this position is between $ 50,000 to $ 65,000 commensurate with experience.
