Associate Director, Corporate Affairs
The Associate Director, Corporate Affairs is responsible for leading the strategic creation and execution of integrated internal communications & engagement programs that contribute to the performance of the organization by informing, educating and developing the workforce in a way that increases employee understanding of corporate strategy and operating goals, enhances Company culture, and ultimately improves overall Company performance. In addition, the incumbent also plays a significant role in leading external communication projects and needs, including corporate communications and product public relations programs.
In this role, the Associate Director, Corporate Affairs will work across the C-suite and be a resource for executive leadership. This individual will have high visibility and exposure to the top level of Endo’s Executive Management Team with the opportunity to showcase high level of strategic thinking, writing capabilities and versatility.
All incumbents are responsible for following applicable Division & Company policies and procedures.

Internal and Corporate Communications
Lead the development and implementation of internal communications strategies and plans that engage, align and inspire employees in the U.S. and internationally around Endo’s vision, core values and business strategy and their understanding of the Company’s business priorities and initiatives.
Play key role in leading internal and external strategic business communications for key teams and members of the ELT, including developing key messages, leading development of town halls and other key internal initiatives, leading external communications activities such as press releases, talking points, Q&As, presentation development, and others.
Work directly with executive leadership to provide strategic counsel in the development of appropriate messaging to employees in support of key business priorities, initiatives and activities that are aligned to corporate messaging.
Play key role in leading the implementation of strategic product public relations campaigns for key products, working with marketing teams and Corporate Affairs to ensure alignment of communications objectives with business objectives. This could include new product launches, new indications, disease awareness campaigns, etc.
Support the President/CEO and executive leadership with any corporate restructuring or business unit specific crisis communications. Partner with executive management and Human Resources to formulate messages that have a positive impact on employee attitudes, morale and productivity while delivering messages in a way that produces understanding, transparency and perspective.
Lead strategic development and execution of key internal communications activities and events (e.g., enterprise town hall meetings, at.endo LIVE calls, mobile communications tool, video series, etc.) and lead ongoing continuous improvement of internal communications.
Manage internal communications for key business initiatives, including but not limited to, acquisitions, divestitures, organizational change management and business simplification.
Serve as primary contact for strategic internal communications and oversee budget as necessary. Provide communications guidance and direction for functions/departments that align to our vision, values, and strategic objectives.
Lead strategy of communications infrastructure (channels and vehicles), including electronic, print, signage, video and audio, in partnership with functional and business unit management. Includes launch and implementation of mobile internal communications tool for the organization-development of business case, budget and measurement.
Program Development & Continuous Improvement
Develop and implement extended leadership communication capabilities across the organization. This includes development and implementation of new tools and channels and regular measurement and continuous improvement to drive consistent communication across the organization.
Leverage employee feedback enterprise-wide to lead the continuous improvement of internal communications programs. This may include retiring non-effective programs, developing and implementing new programs, and ongoing measurement of all channels to constantly evaluate progress and drive improvements.
Indirectly lead and provide guidance to Employee Communications & Engagement Specialist.
Education & Experience
Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience and certifications required for the job
§ Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Business Management or related field required.
§ 10-12 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in a body of information required for the job
e.g. knowledge of FDA regulations, GMP/GLP/GCP, Lean Manufacturing, Six-Sigma, etc.
§ Broad knowledge of organizational communications theory and techniques and a keen understanding of various communications mediums, including, but not limited to, online, print, and audio/visual communications. Intranet communications and corporate publications experience a must.
§ Experience leading development of communications strategies and plans with ability to directly or indirectly oversee the work of others

§ Strong experience in speechwriting and corporate communications.
§ Demonstrated success working with senior executives with a proven track record in executive communications.

§ Ability to develop relationships and foster teamwork at all levels of an organization and across functions.
§ Flexible and can easily adapt to change.
§ Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic, deadline-driven environment.

§ Fluency in multi-media platforms such as video production, digital communications, web.

Physical & mental requirements e.g. lift 40 pounds, walk across plant/warehouse, business travel (% of time), driving as part of work responsibilities, etc.
