We’re searching for an Associate Director of Social Media to strategically oversee our Spirits portfolio of social media accounts, assisting with the planning of key account programming to the direct oversight of a thriving portfolio of brands. Reporting to the Director of Social Media, this person will play an important role on our social media leadership team, working to push the creative thinking and innovation of our clients’ work.

With an artistic mindset and an analytical eye for detail and strategy, this person is a creative and confident thought leader in the space.


Tasked with maintaining best-in-class performance and driving creative innovation for their clients, our Associate Director of Social is a strategic problem solver who is comfortable stepping up as leaders on projects and among their team.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Be a strategic day-to-day point of contact on Social among clients and their supporting internal teams such as Account, Creative, and Media
  • Manage department CMs for night and day work
  • Support the strategic planning and oversight of work on the department’s key Spirits accounts
  • Develop and support social marketing strategies that deliver on performance results and client business objectives
  • Bring brand strategy to life through social content, ads, and campaign development
  • Ensure projects are meeting internal and client expectations
  • Oversee the work of social media CMs assigned to accounts
  • Kickoff all campaign planning and initial client POVs, providing daily thought leadership
  • Lead strategic reporting for all accounts, tuned into the pulse of each brand’s social
  • Develop and implement compelling social media programs
  • Run organized and effective social media initiatives
  • Review social media creative and content for accounts
  • Identify new opportunities for growth and innovation among portfolio of brands
  • Oversee influencer marketing programs, from ideation to execution
  • Provide insights and recommendations to clients to continuously improve level of work
  • Concept innovative ideas for social content that leverages new platform capabilities
  • Stay up-to-date on social trends and industry best practices as a Social Media expert
  • Demonstrate sharp critical thinking by aligning content recommendations with industry best practices and various brand objectives and creative identities
  • Create briefs for creative teams, demonstrating an understanding of how to communicate execution output needs to Creative team members
  • Oversee the media executions of all paid social, demonstrating a high working understanding of paid social media best practices and strategy
  • Act as a daily liaison with other departments to achieve shared project goals
  • Educate client and internal teams on social marketing’s value, best practices, and ongoing growth opportunities
  • Oversee social media shoot concepting and productions for your brands
  • Display high level of paid social advertising best practices


  • Possess a personal passion and excitement for social media
  • 5+ years of experience managing social media accounts for clients
  • Experience leading social media account
  • Very familiar with all social media platforms, staying up-to-date on social media trends and best practices across channels and industries
  • High understanding of social media tools and capabilities
  • Demonstrated success with managing client relationships
  • Experience leading client presentations and discussions
  • Incredible attention to detail
  • Proactive problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Used to working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience managing project teams, and leading junior team members on work
  • Displays curiosity and a willingness to push your own thinking and the agency’s work in creative new directions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Journalism preferred
  • Experience at an advertising agency is a must
