Title: Associate – Inclusion, Belonging, and Social Impact (IBSI)

Reports to: Director, Inclusion, Belonging and Social Impact (IBSI)

Overview:

This role is an essential member of the IBSI team, and instrumental in developing and sustaining our inclusive culture. The IBSI Associate supports the global Inclusion, Belonging, and Social Impact strategies across J.Crew Group’s collection of brands, and is a champion of change. They assist in the development and delivery of strategic initiatives, workshops, events, training, volunteer, and companywide IBSI activations. This role is responsible for data collection, review, analysis and analytics to ensure effectiveness of programs for all stakeholders. and will be expected to work cross collaboratively with functional teams to deliver on our inclusion and belonging and social impact commitments.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Support companywide IBSI programs, ensuring program remain relevant in meeting business strategy and goals while supporting DEIB commitment.
  • Work cross-functionally with business partners within HR and across the organization (Brand Marketing, Talent Branding, Internal Communications) to ensure consistent communication and implementation of IBSI initiatives and processes.
  • Assist with building tools and resources for leaders to include discussion guides, talking points, interactive modules, lunch and learns, and training workshops.
  • Partner with internal communications, office services, IT teams to ensure all programs and events are properly planned and executed.
  • Provide support to Associate Impact Groups (AIGs) with a focus on inclusion and belonging activities to support events, communications, and expense tracking as needed.
  • Work with the Talent Branding team to ensure IBSI work is included in communications from our various platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, Tallo, etc.).
  • Act as point of contact for social impact platform and associate questions regarding employee matching program.
  • Support all social impact initiatives and events ensuring a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Work with external partners ensuring timely follow-up on all requests.
  • Collaborate with business partners across the brand on new partnerships.
  • Build tools and resources for leaders to include discussion guides, talking points, interactive modules, lunch and learns, and training workshops.
  • Work with talent acquisition team to ensure IB work is included in any employer branding.
  • Drive recruiting and candidate outreach partnerships that support diverse candidate pipeline development.
  • Ensure HCM Technology continually leverages IB best practices through candidate/associate journey

Administrative:

  • Support Director with planning and execution of all IBSI initiatives with strong focus on project management and meeting deadlines.
  • Act as point of contact for IBSI email distro.
  • Act as point of contact for questions and inquiries about the social impact platform.
  • Track expenses and submit invoices acting as point of contact for outside vendors.
  • Create Presentations, Newsletters, and Dashboards in partnership with Director of Inclusion Belonging + Social Impact.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of Human Resources, DEIB, Corporative Giving, Social Impact, Philanthropic, Communications or Administrative experience preferred.
  • Role requires a high degree of accountability, initiative, time management and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience managing project timelines with excellent follow-through. Ability to multi-task, work efficiently and consistently contributes to the team in a fast-paced and changing work environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office (including PowerPoint and Excel) and SharePoint.

Salary Range: $64,200.00 – $77,000.00

The base salary offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region of work premises, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. The base salary is just one component of J.Crew Group’s competitive total rewards strategy that also includes the opportunity for bonus, competitive benefits and perks.
