Our Global Communications team serves as an advocate to protect and enhance the brand perception and reputation. We are looking for a candidate to join our efforts by leading proactive external communications programs that support our seasonal promotions for our U.S. retail business. This role requires the ability to navigate a global business with creativity and flexibility as well as manage deadlines and bring others along. For this role we are looking for communicators with proven experience as an earned media strategist and media relations expert, storyteller, and the ability to incorporate business and consumer insights into their work. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.
As a brand communications manager, you will…
Develop and execute the external media strategies that support our seasonal promotions, and manage and lead daily both proactive and reactive communications to support our US retail business.
Be dedicated to building and executing communications strategies alongside a multiple cross-functional teams from marketers to operators to support our seasonal promotions and other consumer-lead initiatives.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to navigate a global business with creativity and flexibility as well as manage deadlines and bring others along.
We’d love to hear from people with:
Demonstrated experience in consumer or brand communications, preferably at a multi-unit retailer or an agency
Proven media relations and writing capabilities
The ability to influence, inspire and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities
