Grassroots Voter Outreach is immediately hiring passionate and motivated people to build support for an urgent environmental campaign in Phoenix. People in Arizona have a unique opportunity right now to show their support for stronger clean air standards, as the EPA considers a measure that will cut pollution and reduce asthma.
For over a decade Grassroots Voter Outreach has been on the front lines of progressive change. We design and run ground-breaking outreach campaigns and work with the top national progressive political groups and nonprofits.
Work with us to:
  • Improve public health by reducing air pollution
  • Fight global warming
  • Support the creation of green jobs
  • Generate support for climate-friendly policies

 

Functions of the Job:
  • Present the campaign message to members of the public, and gather petition signatures
  • Encourage petition signers to take further volunteer actions on the campaign
  • Build individual interest in fighting climate change, and our specific campaign
  • Respond to questions and objections in a positive and professional manner

 

Qualifications:
  • A strong desire for climate solutions, cleaner air, and a fairer economy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work outdoors, walk and stand for long periods of times

 

Pay starts at $20/hour
Full Time, Part Time
