Who We’re Seeking to Join Our Senior Management Team

·        You have a keen understanding of the rapidly evolving dynamics of communications and marketing resources.

·        You are a manager with the vision to push structural changes that’ll bring increased strategic relevance to communications operations.

·        You have a record of innovation, and have developed creative and unique uses of communication resources to recruit and organize members, promote an organization’s public image, and influence public policy

·        Your strategic focus enhances our senior manage team, and you are comfortable working to move senior staff and union leadership with new ideas and strategies that may be outside established norms.

·        You have a proven ability to implement long-term vision and changes, while managing simultaneous short and long-term campaigns.

·        You revel in taking on powerful, well-funded opponents.

·        Your management style is focused, calm and results-oriented under pressure, and you have a record of developing a culture of high performance from all communications staff.

  • You are energetic, fun, flexible, collaborative, proactive, and a team leader who can positively and productively impact the organization.


At least 5 – 7 years of communications experience in a senior management role either in a member organization or with an agency. Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.

Compensation: Starting salary range of $109,000 to $130,000 commensurate with experience, and an excellent benefits package, including defined pension, 401K contribution, family health insurance, and much more.
