About the Role:
The Communications Director will oversee all communications involving the development and implementation of a communications strategy and a broad and diverse range of business and marketing communications to consistently articulate Sparkhound’s mission in the Strategy, Digital Automation, Infrastructure Managed Services practices.
What you will do:
Establish and drive a communications strategy utilizing innovation, go-to-market tools and approaches, to emphasize the full capabilities of the organization
Prepare and manage all communications materials incorporating “the voice of Sparkhound” to our current and potential clients
Develop brand voice and maintain brand integrity across all platforms.
Assist in identifying the most effective means of leveraging digital, video, audio and print content.
Partner with leadership to ensure messages support the sales and delivery strategies and resonate with clients
Manages and leads our Marketing Coordinator to implement marketing campaigns targeted to specific market segments representing our multiple business units
Leverage analytics to identify the success of campaigns; track potential client engagement across various platforms and make data-driven decisions.
Manage presence at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
Create budget for communications/marketing and ensure compliance.
Responsible for measurable demand generation results such as new client acquisition rates, Lead capture and conversion to qualified sales opportunities
Qualifications / Skills:
10+ years in IT Consulting or Managed Services industries
7+ years of communications, marketing or public relations or related experience
7+ years corporate experience
5+ years of Experience with Social Media Management
Must have experience working in an upstart environment
Experience implementing and creating marketing initiatives for large companies
Demonstrated knowledge of getting the right message to the right audience through the right medium.
Advanced working knowledge of HubSpot, NetSuite, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro)
Strong proficiency in the following competencies: Copywriting, Graphic Design, Web Design and Strategy, Data Collection and Analysis, Technology Skills, Collaborative thinker, Attention to Detail, Self-Motivated, Creative Problem-Solving Skills
Strong leadership track record
Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
Experience managing digital content
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or a related discipline
Established media relations a plus
