Prescryptive Health is looking for a Communications Director to lead our creative marketing content efforts.

In this senior role you will work closely with the Chief Growth Officer, product VPs, marketing directors, and sales team to create original content that articulates our unique value and resonates with key audiences (e.g., end-users, employers, pharmacists, and broader industry experts).

Prescription benefits are the largest and fastest growing component of healthcare expenses today: Americans pay 30% more than the rest of the world for prescription drugs and over 450 million prescriptions are abandoned each year at the pharmacy due to unexpectedly high cost.  Prescryptive Health is disrupting this market by delivering solutions that provide healthcare consumers with the transparency, choice, and control they need to make informed decisions, take control of their health, and cut costs.

We are seeking a talented individual that wants to join us on this journey and grow their career. In this role you will:

  • Write and review original copy for ads, press releases, and social networks
  • Prepare and publish articles that describe our company and products
  • Edit and fact-check pieces of content generated by colleagues
  • Partner with our marketing and design leads to enrich text with visual aids, like images and charts
  • Shape language and tone used in sales emails, banners and brochures
  • Create and oversee reports on content (e.g. weekly or monthly)
  • Interview clients, industry experts and internal teams
  • Monitor metrics related to our content, like web traffic and conversion rates
  • Ensure all content is up-to-date

The ideal candidate will have some or all of the following qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a Communications Director, Senior Copywriter, or similar role
  • Portfolio of published articles
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • An ability to write creative copy both for large pieces of content (e.g. product descriptions) and smaller texts (e.g. social media posts)
  • Solid time-management skills
  • Basic keyword search knowledge
  • Background in healthcare is a plus
  • BSc in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or relevant field
