Ripple Effect is looking for a communication generalist with health experience to support our client’s mission. This role will work closely with the communications team to develop and support communication strategies and tactics to disseminate information and promote a positive public image.

General Information


  • Supports the communications team to contribute to communications strategic planning and execution.
  • Develops in-depth knowledge of the client’s mission and stakeholders to develop meaningful and targeted communications approaches.
  • Complies with branding standards and style guides to present a consistent message and tone to target audiences.
  • Maintains communication’s related databases by providing data entry support or analyzing communications datasets such as social media trends or google analytics.
  • Supports to a wide variety of communications tactics based on areas of expertise which may include press releases, blogs, multimedia, presentations, social media, infographics, events, factsheets and more.
  • Works with other communications team members such as writers, editors, graphic designers and web developers to accomplish tasks and support the quality control process.
  • Supports project management activities by tracking progress of action items, organizing documents, preparing a monthly summary of activities, and calendaring.
  • May monitor and triage centralized email communications and respond to routine inquiries.
  • Supports documenting of processes and procedures.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.


Minimum Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2 years’ experience

Basic Requirements

  • Ability to learn and navigate web-based system such as SharePoint, Teams and other electronic business systems.
  • Beginner skills with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize among multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for face-to-face interactions with clients, co-workers and program stakeholders
  • Ability to learn quickly and condense complex information from diverse sources into concise, attractive, user-friendly formats
  • Ability to demonstrate strategic and creative skill sets
