Location: Fully remote role based in the United States, though working from the Washington, DC metro area is preferred.

Business Hours: Full-time, flexible hours. Meetings take place between 9 and 5 EST.

Job Highlight: You’ll be responsible for leading a small and scrappy team to tell ASAP’s story across mediums and platforms.

Communications Team Overview: As the leader of ASAP’s Communications Team, you’ll manage a small and fun-loving team of part-time employees and contractors to promote classes, raise money and grow our brand. The Communications Manager works closely with the Executive Director to ensure every piece of content that ASAP puts out is beautiful, sharp, and effective.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You will galvanize people to take classes and come to shows. You will work with our Programs team to spread the word about classes and performances. Using social media, newsletters, peer-to-peer and other recruitment strategies, you will strive to increase applicants and audience members month over month.

  • You will drive ASAP’s digital revenue streams. You will be ASAP’s point person for our recurring donor program (Stage Pass) and digital fundraising campaigns. You will work as part of our Development team on all fundraising initiatives including major events and corporate engagement.

  • You will build and safeguard ASAP’s brand. As ASAP’s brand builder, you will work to grow our following across social media and our digital presence. As brand safeguard, you will make sure ASAP’s values are promoted, guidelines are maintained, and standards are upheld across all public communications.

RELEVANT SKILLS

Required

  • 3+ years of experience in a digital marketing role with a proven track record in driving user acquisition and revenue growth;

  • Outstanding interpersonal communication skills;

  • Track record of successfully managing cross-platform events and campaigns;

  • Meaningful project and people management experience;

  • A strong grasp and ability to utilize all aspects of digital marketing and relevant data to drive successful program development;

  • A strong goal-oriented and metrics-driven work approach.

Preferred:

  • A good eye for design;

  • Experience organizing and promoting events;

  • Familiarity with military, comedy, or arts communities;

  • Tech Stack: Mailchimp, Google Suite, Squarespace, Funraise, Hootsuite, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Slack, Google Analytics.

COMPENSATION & WORK SCHEDULE

$50,000 – $60,000
