Experienced communications leader overseeing support for the Enterprise Technology (ET) business function. The communications senior manager is responsible for driving the communications strategy, serves as a trusted advisor to the executive leader and collaborates regularly with others in Communications, Marketing, Functions and Business Segments.

  • Develop and execute internal and external communications strategies for Enterprise Technology.
  • Provide communications counsel and support to ET executive leader.
  • Forge relationships with function leaders to gain knowledge, align communications objectives and goals with the function, and serve as a trusted consultative partner.
  • Develop proactive public relations to obtain positive media mentions on technology products, services and distinctive strategy.
  • Lead message development, spokesperson training, issues management and internal communications at the function level.
  • Partner with social media team to execute plans and provide counsel on key issues.
  • Maintain Corporate Communications policy.
  • Plan content/messaging and graphics/videos for town halls, conferences, speaking engagements and events.
  • Provide formal and informal leadership to others and serves as a resource on complex solutions.
  • Drive the achievement of client, operational, project, service, and risk management objectives.
  • Create positive news to build the company’s brand, advance our purpose, and promote our solutions and services.
  • Handle media inquiries and manages responses in a timely manner and in consultation with business and Corporate Communications leadership.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent education and related training
  • 10+ years of progressive and related experience
  • Proven leader and demonstrated team player with excellent interpersonal, negotiation, listening and management skills; ability to successfully interact with people at all levels of the organization and counsel, negotiate, influence and inspire
  • Proven project management ability including managing the conceptualization and execution of multiple large, complex projects along with capability to make rational decisions under pressure
  • Strong, well-rounded communications skills including writing/editing, project management, publicity, and news judgment
  • Ability to exercise judgment in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges in the context of business objectives and priorities
  • Knowledge of the industry’s competitive landscape and an understanding of the market and regulatory factors that affect our business
  • Understanding of technology, intranet management, and digital integration procedures and execution

Preferred Qualifications:

1.         Advanced degree in business, communications, marketing or related field

2.         Knowledge of financial services industry, technology and client experience fields

Able to access and interpret client information received from the computer and able to hear and speak with individuals in person and on the phone.

Able to work standard office equipment, including PC keyboard and mouse, copy/fax machines, and printers.
Able to work all hours scheduled, including overtime as directed by manager/supervisor and required by business need.
