We serve as a trusted advisor and partner to leading business executives, entrepreneurs, and leaders across media, entertainment, technology, sports, finance, education, public affairs, philanthropy, and other impactful industries.

We are looking for a highly motivated Strategist for our Communications group in our New York office (with the position to begin remotely) who will enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative, creative environment, and who can contribute to our clients in sports, technology, media and entertainment, and other sectors, and to our growing company overall.


  • Support the team on a range of clients and industries, with a particular emphasis on sports, entertainment, and crisis engagements
  • Interact directly with client teams and ensure timely and appropriate responses and deliverables
  • Write, edit, and review drafts of press releases, bios, memos, talking points, Q&As, and other client materials
  • Proactively identify new ideas and opportunities for client success
  • Provide input on communications plans for a variety of situations and clients
  • Build media lists and establish relationships with reporters
  • Assist with developing new business proposals and participate in meetings and calls
  • Provide creative thinking on accounts and develop original client story angles
  • Compile background research for current and potential clients
  • Independently develop media pitches and secure relevant opportunities and results, as well as support on responding to inbound media inquiries for clients
  • Build and maintain editorial, speaking, and awards calendars
  • Monitor for coverage of clients in traditional and new media


  • 1-3 years of professional experience in sports communications, particularly at a public relations/marketing agency or as part of an in-house communications team
  • Recent experience working in a client service role and in demanding and dynamic situations
  • Background and/or interest in sports, technology, and media and entertainment
  • Strong understanding of traditional and non-traditional communications strategies and tactics
  • Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with managers, peers, clients, the media, partners, and more
  • Self-starter and is comfortable succeeding in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively and meeting deadlines
  • Exceptional attention to detail, follow up, and organization skills
  • Digital and social media savvy a plus
