Whether it’s supporting local schools, community food pantries or funding life-saving medical research, we make time for each employee to maximize their impacts to organizations they care about.  We’re seeking a passionate and diligent team member to manage the operations of our Employee Engagement programs and Community Campaigns. This role works collaboratively with internal and external partners to develop strategy, produce and manage implementation of Employee Engagement programs, Community Campaigns and content creation.

Here’s what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful:

Job Duties:

  • Manage Community employee engagement programs, including employee volunteerism, Community Engagement platform, signature campaigns and charitable giving
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key external stakeholders at nonprofit organizations, community partners and SEGs to support First Tech’s Community Engagement strategy
  • Develop and execute employee volunteer activites and other employee engagement events directly with nonprofit partners or via the Employee Volunteer Council
  • Produce and manage implementation of engaging community campaigns and content, such as the annual member and employee scholarship program, Credit Unions for Kids campaign and Season of Giving
  • Work collaboratively with internal business partners in Communications, Marketing, Membership and other departments to empower, engage and activate employees through storytelling
  • Support Community event planning, logistics, and implementation, including partnership collateral management and fulfillment
  • Represent First Tech in the community, including community events, public speaking and external partnership meetings

Essential Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years business, public sector or nonprofit experience involving both independent and collaborative management of internal and external partnerships (including sponsorships, grants, charitable contributions and community relationships)
  • Experience communicating with business and community leaders to understand program development and impact, expectations and ROI measurements, identify and leverage opportunities as they arise; strong partnership and influencing skills
  • Knowledge of corporate social responsibility best practices, with a focus on implementing and driving community-focused culture
  • Knowledge of community needs, and the local and regional philanthropic landscape
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Minimum EducationHigh School Diploma and Bachelor’s degree (in Corporate Social Responsibility, Public Relations, Non-Profit Management, Communications or Marketing) is preferred
