Outreach & Production Associate

 

The JPMorgan Chase Research & Policy team is seeking to fill the role of an Outreach & Production Associate located in its Washington, D.C., office.  This individual will play a critical role in delivering and amplifying the research findings and policy recommendations of the JPMorgan Chase Institute and JPMorgan Chase PolicyCenter to advance economic opportunity and prosperity.  S/he will report to the Director of Outreach, and work closely across the JPMC Institute and PolicyCenter teams and their Corporate Responsibility partners in the development and management of content production and project management, outreach programming, stakeholder engagement, communications, and events.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute project plans for the production of research and policy deliverables; responsibilities may include:
    • Creation and management of project timelines and Gantt charts
    • Coordination of content creation across research and policy teams and external partners
    • Copyediting and style guide review
    • Documentation of necessary pre-release approvals
  • Develop and deliver strategic outreach plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams to amplify JPMC Institute research, advance PolicyCenter priorities, and sustain internal and external engagement; responsibilities may include:
    • Stakeholder and policy issue research
    • Long- and short-form content creation, e.g., social media, policy briefs, etc.
    • Coordination of pre- and post-release briefings on research or other public initiatives
  • Lead and support virtual and live programming and events in support of Research & Policy priorities
  • Build and maintain relationships across Corporate Responsibility in order to support shared goals, promote integrated stakeholder outreach, and manage risks appropriately
  • Strengthen organizational processes and systems, including content or channel management, engagement tracking and analytics, and/or risk management activities

 

Qualifications:

  • Passion for JPMorgan Chase Institute and PolicyCenter missions are a must
  • Positive self-starter with strong independent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent relationship building and collaborative decision-making skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and organization to manage dynamic timelines and competing priorities
  • Prior experience in economic policy, public affairs, and/or marketing, or related areas; experience engaging cross-sector (public, private) stakeholders at the regional or community level preferred
  • Prior experience and success in roles requiring attention to detail
  • Deep prior experience with core Microsoft Office applications
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree a plus
