- Ensure internal messages are communicated to team members in a clear, timely and effective manner, using a high impact writing style and format aligned with Brand Guidelines. • Create specific communications action plans, timelines, and defined deliverables that support the communication of internal messages helping SmileDirectClub shape culture, drive engagement, and deliver results. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate team member communications content into overall company goals and messaging. • Adhere to the company’s Brand Guidelines, ensuring that we produce high-quality and errorfree copy. • Write, edit, and produce communications for internal audiences including but not limited to presentations, scripts, briefing documents, intranet articles, and team member communications, messages, and emails. • Review and edit communications drafted by internal stakeholders and make recommendations to ensure messaging is consistent with internal strategy, brand guidelines and tone. • Support social media communications to deliver a strong team member value proposition. • Assist to create and implement a communication strategy that includes media outreach and social media content creation. • Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts. • Using social media to engage potential candidates, respond to questions or complaints, and to promote company initiatives. • Monitoring social media metrics. • Prepares and design graphic work to be accomplished by gathering information, concept, and materials for Corporate Space Branding • Create graphic and video materials using technology, including computer software programs. Adobe’s Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects and more.
- Continually improve, measure, and evaluate effectiveness of team member communications strategy and methods. Support and evaluate results of communication campaigns with the team. • Identify and partner with key internal and external role-players. Maintain relationships with key stakeholders and leaders to understand impacts of projects and changes to SDC CR team members, what is coming, and when. • Meet deadlines, prioritize workloads, and maintain a strong attention to detail to meet organizational objectives and quality measures. • Take the assigned portable computer home every day, to maintain connectivity to SDC and ability to perform required tasks offsite if required.
Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. English Proficiency B2+/ C1 1+ years of professional experience in internal/corporate/team member communications and/or content experience. Contact center or HR communications experience. Have outstanding listening and communications skills, both written and oral. Be proficient in multiple forms of communications technologies and approaches. Be an expert writer in internal and team member communications that are engaging and informative. Adaptable and schedule flexibility Hard Skills: Computer technology: Proficient Microsoft Office Suite, Social Media, Analytics, Pivot Tables. Adobe Cloud basic to intermediate knowledge: Ps and Ai are a must, Id, Lr, Pr and Ae are desired. Strong graphic design skills. Desktop publishing tools and graphic design software. Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, creativity, teamwork, research, curiosity, openmindedness, taking calculated risks, adaptability, consistency, organization, optimism, flexibility, customer-oriented approach, work ethic, and time management. Attention to detail-obsessed, Acute vision, able to receive constructive criticism about artwork.
