General Information

Responsibilities

Provides divisional leadership to manages people and processes to ensure that our communications and outreach projects are delivered on time and produce the desired result.

  • Develops, integrates, and implements comprehensive marketing, communications, and public relations plans and measurable actions that enhance the organization’s vital mission.
  • Provides messages, brand discipline, and guidance to ensure that clients and/or projects are portrayed consistently and compellingly in media outlets, and in all material
  • Manages the relationship with clients, prime contractors and all stakeholders.
  • Coordinates the internal and external resources for flawless execution of projects that meet stakeholder expectations including a wide range of vendors/partners and identifies new partnerships when appropriate.
  • Ensures communications & outreach projects are delivered on-time, high-quality and within scope and within budget.
  • Manages multi-disciplinary project teams providing mentoring, oversight and managing performance that include communications specialists, graphic designers, instructional designers, public relations specialist, and writers.
  • Develops a detailed project plan to track progress and manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with external consultants, vendors and partners and identifies new partnerships when appropriate.
  • Leads the development of processes and procedures that enhance effectiveness and efficiency of team’s operations.
  • Contributes to developing a pipeline of proposal opportunities for the division by developing relationships, vetting opportunities, leading proposals and overseeing the pricing and technical solutioning for proposals.
  • Actively promotes the company and the division by contributing to recruiting, participating in networking events, presenting at professional meetings and actively developing networks.
  • Contributes to divisional leadership by contributing to division priorities and goal setting,
  • Contributes to major portions of technical volumes for relevant projects and may contribute budgeting and pricing.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, healthcare administration, public health or related field
  • 9 years’ experience
  • 5 years project management and supervisory experience
  • 2 years of business development experience

Basic Requirements

  • Advanced ability to navigate program’s web-based system such as SharePoint, Teams and other electronic business systems and train others on its use.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
  • Strong communications and business writing experience

  • CMS, HHS and healthcare payment model experience
  • Government contracting experience
  • PMP or professional project management certifications
