The Digital Communication Manager Europe is responsible for identifying and driving innovative Digital strategies and tactics in the area of Targeted Therapy with special focus on Rare Disease in order reach the different target groups helping to increase awareness and to identify patients that can benefit from the treatment throughout Region Europe.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Understand business challenges and requirements of Brand in charge as well as scientific background and strategic approach
  • Support brand marketing/ medical teams to identify effective communication channels to relevant target groups involved, providing digital solution options, giving advice, and implement them
  • Drive digital strategy and tactics based on deep understanding of the scientific background, patients’ needs and physician’s preferences
  • Develop and execute effective digital and multichannel marketing strategies and tactics in close alignment with Brand Team
  • Continuous operation and improvement of digital services in charge
  • Develop meaningful KPI’s to track performance and report internally
  • Benchmark competitors’ digital activities to continuously improve brand performance
  • Ensure adequate reporting of adverse events / technical complaint / compliance issue in accordance with company procedures
  • 100% timely delivery of all training requirements including compliance
  • Ensure launch readiness through partnering with EU must win markets and key growth markets


  • University degree in economics, business, digital and/ or marketing
  • Advanced level of English
  • Min 7 years of operational digital marketing experience
  • Demonstrated ability to think broadly and innovate within the pharmaceutical business
  • Proven ability with digital marketing and digital analytics
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skill
  • Digital expertise from a strategy, execution and delivery point of view
  • Experience in working in matrix teams
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Background in pharmaceuticals industry
  • Sales experience of 2 years is advantage
  • Strong skills in market and competitor analysis
  • Strong analytical skills and high learning agility
  • Experience in targeted therapies and/or tare disease would be a plus
