Description

The American Association for Justice (AAJ®) is seeking a Digital Communications Coordinator for its Marketing department. AAJ works to preserve the constitutional right to trial by jury and to make sure people have a fair chance to seek justice when they are injured by the negligence or misconduct of otherseven when it means taking on the most powerful corporations.

The Digital Communications Coordinator works to increase email marketing metrics, web traffic, and member engagement and growth. The Digital Communications Coordinator will bring energy and creativity, helping to identify opportunities to improve on the association’s marketing strategies.

Job duties include:

  • Producing digital content for a variety of platforms, including website, social media, e-newsletters, and email correspondence.
  • Create digital graphics for use on website, emails, and social media.
  • Edit and package digital video clips for use on website, emails, and social media.
  • Project manage email communications within the Informz platform.
  • Track and measure impact of marketing projects and activities.
  • Track, index, and maintain multimedia library.
  • Identify new communications and marketing opportunities to raise the visibility of the Associations programs.
  • Work in close collaboration with association departments to promote and support the Associations various initiatives.
  • Compile reports using various digital tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, and others.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • BA/BS required. 
  • Two to three years of work experience in an office, non-profit, or association setting preferred; experience working in the legal field or with legal professionals a plus.  
  • Strong organizational skills and proven experience with completing projects on tight deadlines and within budget and handling multiple projects at one time. 
  • Efficiency and attention to detail absolutely necessary; experience proofreading preferred.   
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.  Able to communicate clearly with colleagues across multiple departments, supervisors, professional members, and support staff, including onsite support staff. 
  • Ability to work independently and show good judgment. 
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency using Microsoft Office, Outlook, and database programs (such as Netforum) required.  
  • Working knowledge of CRM software and email automation software.
  • Experience with Canva or basic design software.
  • Basic video editing skills to include packaging and closed captioning.
