To develop, implement, and maintain a digital content strategy based on corporate marketing goals, strategic plan objectives, and member/customer’s needs on the Farm Bureau of Michigan website. To help direct content requirements and create content strategy deliverables across varying digital marketing campaigns. To serve as an information architect to ensure content is optimized and structurally presented for an exceptional user experience. To work with and serve Farm Bureau Insurance agents as they build their web presence with Farm Bureau supported agent micro-sites. To provide content analysis and recommendations that meet both Farm Bureau brand guidelines and agency owner’s individualized needs.


Develop, implement, and maintain content on the Farm Bureau of Michigan website. Develop content matrix and editorial guidelines to ensure content meets corporate marketing goals, strategic plan objectives, and member/customer’s needs.


Conduct content and comparative audits to gather key business and user insight to ensure positive user experiences. Aid in the ideation and execution of digital marketing strategies that accentuate the overall marketing and advertising strategy and outcome.


Collect, produce, and edit website material to maintain and improve the quality of information provided. Analyze, review, and implement changes to ensure optimization for search engines. Maximize traffic to sites through improving page rank.


Required: Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, content strategy, or digital marketing required. Google certification required. Understanding of web production software such as Visio, Dreamweaver, Office, and Photoshop is required. Minimum three years working in an office environment required. Experience working with people required. Excellent computer skills, along with proven knowledge of programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. Proven track record of being a team player required. Willingness to set a continuing self-development program required.


Preferred: Two years of applicable experience preferred with a familiarity with HTML, CSS and JavaScript programming language. Experience with CMS solutions such as Drupal, WordPress, or Salesforce Community Cloud preferred. Data analysis experience and knowledge of web and marketing tools for SEO (i.e. SEMRush) preferred.
