No Labels is a dynamic, fast-paced organization with many avenues and opportunities for growth. No Labels is looking for a Digital Director to lead our active digital team to help shape and amplify No Labels’ mission and goals.
The Digital Director will be responsible for a wide range of critical functions including developing original social media content, designing graphics, editing and posting videos, maintaining the office’s website, and managing media lists.
Qualified applicants must have strong writing, editing, proofreading skills and be proficient in photography, video recording and editing. They must be detail-oriented, news savvy, and able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
Compensation commensurate with experience. This position is temporarily remote due to COVID-19 and will resume full-time in our downtown office space by mid July following District of Columbia guidelines.

Execute short- and long-term communications plans
Manage all online properties, social media channels, email and SMS programs
Analyze online metrics from digital platforms including social media channels, website traffic, and CRM data from action forms and emails for future optimization
Lead digital team in crafting, executing, and analyzing social media strategy
Conceptualize, shape, draft, edit, and approve digital messaging content, including, email campaign messages, social media content, video scripts, petitions and advocacy page copy, event invitations, creative website copy, and paid media copy.
Oversee paid and organic digital strategy and integration of digital program across departments to meet overall program goals
Own online grassroots fundraising efforts for No Labels and No Labels-aligned candidates
Oversee list-growth efforts through paid and organic strategies
Create and direct production of compelling videos and graphics
Craft engagement and advocacy campaigns and oversee special projects
Work with web vendors to maintain No Labels website
Stay abreast of digital organizing strategies to engage and to activate large network of grassroots supporters into action takers with field organizing team
Amplify message of surrogates and partners of organize to maximize reach and impact
Train staff members and local leaders on various digital tools for engagement and advocacy
Supervise digital team operations and personnel to achieve departmental goals
Edit and review all public facing materials
Build and maintain press lists
5+ years of digital communications experience
Track record of successful digital campaigns in current media landscape
Experience in digital strategy, content development, and social media account management
Experience integrating strategies across social media, email, SMS, and video to lead strategic and cohesive digital campaigns
Demonstrated knowledge and experience managing social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, including content creation
Familiarity with Facebook insights, Twitter Analytics, and other social media analytical tools
Familiarity with digital organizing
Experience with email marketing and website management
Experience using graphic design tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite or another professional-level graphic design software
Experience using Adobe Premier Pro or Final Cut Pro (or another professional-level video editing software)
Excellent writer, with ability to write quickly and communicate clearly
Preferred: proficient with photography and videography
Preferred: 1-2 years management experience or experience leading teams
Preferred: experience with WordPress, Sprout Social, Salsa, and other digital marketing tools
Bachelor’s degree required
Ability to work in fast-paced, start-up environment
Flexibility and “no job too small” attitude
Strong team player
Ability to balance competing priorities and follow through deadline-oriented projects
