Working in close collaboration with our client relations, technology, and creative teams, the Director of Digital, Paid Media will ensure we are effectively executing on our digital strategy in support of our broader program goals. In addition, the Director will be charged with serving as a subject matter expert and thought leader in the latest digital trends and emerging technologies, managing inter-agency partnerships, and rolling up their sleeves and supporting our larger clients and digital campaigns.
About You
  • You have a minimum of 3-5 years of substantive digital media experience working in public affairs, alongside political campaigns, or with advocacy organizations.
  • You wield a proven track record of 2-3 years managing internal teams and running point for multiple digital projects at once.
  • You have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience buying online media across social media platforms, including Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, and Twitter Ads Manager.
  • You have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience working in demand-side ad platforms, such as DV360, AppNexus, Adobe Advertising Cloud, or equivalent platforms.
  • You have an extensive background in crafting multi-channel digital media strategies for clients in the political and issue advocacy space.
  • You understand the complexities of the digital media landscape, with demonstrated expertise in both social media and programmatic ad platforms.
  • Familiarity with basic data analysis and high proficiency working in Microsoft Excel with functionality such as pivot tables
  • A highly-motivated individual with strong attention to detail and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, campaign-style environment
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Directing complex digital projects and delivering our clients winning results, both online and offline.
  • Working alongside our client and internal teams to develop framework assessments and KPIs for multi-channel paid media campaigns.
  • Managing inter-agency partnerships on select campaigns
  • Place advertising buys directly with vendors
  • Carefully manage media budgets, analyzing and reporting campaign results both internally and to the client
  • Advising our client relations team on innovative and comprehensive paid media strategies
  • Analyzing and aggregate digital media metrics into digestible, thoughtful, and impactful insights for both internal teams and clients.
  • Actively participating in business development, pitching unique and creative digital solutions to new and existing clients.
