Director of Government Relations
Director will serve as the primary lobbyist and manage governmental affairs for the association. Responsibilities include tracking, drafting, and influencing state legislation and amendments impacting the practice of civil plaintiffs law in WV. Build and maintain relationships with legislators, legislative staff, coalition partners and the lobbying community. Manage legislative team, including instructing and coordinating member volunteers.

Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree or Juris Doctorate preferred; at least five years of legislative lobbying and/or staff experience preferred; flexible work hours; excellent written and oral communications skills; manage multiple issues and deadlines; ability to work effectively in bipartisan political climate.
