Position Summary
Develop a public policy on environmental and property resiliency insurance issues and serves as staff liaison to appropriate committees. Provide guidance and leadership to staff and members and developed, draft, modify legislation, regulation, draft talking points, and testimony to advocate APCIA’s position on property environmental and resiliency issues.
Position Qualifications/Education
Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years (Director) or 10 years (Senior Director) of experience in Environmental issues.
Knowledge of the property and catastrophe insurance market is desirable as well as experience with state, federal and international environmental programs.
Strong thought leadership and communication skills.
