Overview

Are you a very organized individual that loves planning, managing and executing all aspects of tradeshows and events along with the creativity of building digital content?  If so, CAES is searching for an Events and Digital Communications Specialist to join our Corporate Marketing and Communication team.

The goal of the Events and Digital Communications Specialist is to drive meaningful interactions at events and conferences by managing logistics, materials, and digital communications of all industry tradeshows and conferences, and virtual events.  This person will facilitate and ensure consistent branding for all events (in-person and virtual), estimate and manage costs, and coordinate across divisional teams on attendees, materials, and event needs.  This individual must be detail-oriented and organized, as well as be at ease working across divisions for deliverables for events.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic planning and execution of corporate and division tradeshows and events
  • Provide on-site exhibit management and leadership
  • Tactical planning and execution on all trade show and event activities, such as training, sponsorships, advertising, speaking events, and receptions
  • Planning and development of tradeshow and event logistics, such as, catering, RFP’s, negotiations with vendor and contracts, web registration development, monitoring registration, room layouts, room blocks, meeting schedules, production liaison, ground transportation and communications
  • Create and track tradeshow budgets and budget reconciliation with corporate finance.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) pre-show and measure performance post-show. Report to Executive leadership on the tradeshow performance
  • Advise on current trends in exhibit design and best practices
  • Manage trade show logistics with shipping, tracking, and inspecting portable tradeshow properties
  • Design graphics for trade show booths, product descriptions, etc.
  • Create unique images for a variety of projects, which may potentially include presentations, brochures, email newsletters, data sheets, product briefs, images, advertisements, infographics, videos and social media
  • Maintain brand consistency throughout all projects
  • Proactively scope and present new ideas to increase company awareness and improve our customers brand experience
  • Maintain departmental library and files of all marketing and promotional materials and resources
  • Develop, coordinate and manage CAES’ digital marketing campaigns and strategy including advertising, e-newsletters, webinars and more.
  • Oversee company’s marketing automation initiatives and manage marketing database
  • Determine and create digital content such as multimedia displays, videos, etc.

Qualifications

Minimum:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of marketing and communications experience
  • 3+ years of tradeshows and events marketing experience, both in-person and virtual
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, graphic design or related field of study
  • 3+ years of experience in aerospace and defense, semiconductor or technology industry
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Highly motivated, professional, detail-oriented self-starter with exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Strong graphic design, digital communications and video editing skills
  • Must manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Capable of working in both an independent and team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Extensive knowledge of graphic design, audio-visual equipment and digital displays, meeting room sets, F&B, exhibit hall and sponsorship execution
  • Ability to control budgets, schedules/timelines and overall action items
  • Provide excellent customer service utilizing effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively managing relationships with business leaders, partners and employees at every level of an organization
  • Email marketing and working knowledge of HubSpot and Salesforce
