The CSR team works across disciplines to bring the right resources, expertise, and experience to each matter. Our team is growing fast and is seeking highly experienced, bright CSR professionals to join us. In this role, you will be building out the global CSR team. The following describes the responsibilities and requirements for the role. Responsibilities: – Lead the development and implementation of holistic direction for priority topics (eg. education, diversity, and sustainability) – Manage stakeholder engagements in close collaboration with investor relations and governmental affairs – Engagement with NGOs and civil society actors to help the system manage relationships around the industry – Develop sustainability and CSR narratives to drive impactful communications strategies that reach a wide variety of external stakeholders – Work cross-functionally to craft our corporate sustainability communications strategy and identify key moments for sustained momentum – Develop and implement strategic initiatives in conjunction with cross-functional teams, in particularly Public Policy, Communications, Legal, etc. – Ability to drive sustainability innovations at TikTok and industry leadership, particularly in the areas of sustainable systems design and thinking – Establish influence and credibility across internal sustainability teams to ensure consistency of messaging, reporting the work and priorities of data center energy and sustainability, and participating in broad-based strategy setting – Lead engagement, partnerships, and advocacy with key external stakeholders to advance TikTok’s strategic priorities and sustainability leadership – Lead in the production of original research or supportive materials that support cross-cutting strategy
– Bachelor’s degree required – 15+ years of experience in building and running CSR within another company – Excellent communication skills to develop internal and external stakeholder networks – Experience driving solutions and programs in corporate sustainability and operations, and working on sustainability strategies – Knowledge in broad networks with NGOs, relevant academic institutions, industry best practices, and leading-edge sustainability trends and concepts – Effective analytical skills and high attention to detail, including the ability to develop business cases, supervise the development of analytics and metrics, set goals, and identify gaps and opportunities for new projects and programs – Strong management, leadership, and team building skills – Empathetic and self-motivated leader that can excel in a fast-paced environment TikTok is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.
